I am looking for a good casino close to NWA. It would be fine if it was right across the border in oklahoma, anyone know of any casinos that fit the bill? I would like it to be 18 and up too, as one of my friend is 19. Planning on going to Eureka one day soon then just jumping over to the casino...thanks!

There's the Cherokee in W Siloam Springs. Technically, that will be the closest to Northwest Arkansas as it's just on the edge of Siloam Springs in Arkansas.

There's a casino in Wyandotte, OK, and one in Grove, OK, Bordertown is in Seneca. Downstream is in Quapaw (just head to Joplin, you can't miss the signs) and it's more like a resort-casino, with shows and so on.

There are several around Tulsa, but that's a bit of a drive.

and the new one just over the border, in OK from Ft Smith. Actually the new one (about a year old) in called Indigo Sky is nice. I think that is the one that actually replace Bordertown. We have been there a couple of times. Yes, W Siloam Springs is the closest and is supposedly very nice. I don't know about the age for admittance though.

Thanks for all the info. I have been to most of those in NE Oklahoma, but I usually just go up to 44 and take it west to downstream. I was hoping we could go to the one in W. Siloam Springs, but its 21 and up...thats the closest one to Eureka. Downstream is almost 2 hours from Eureka so that may be a bit too far, as I have an hour drive to Eureka from Branson. Then add another 2 hours on top of that (may be a long time driving just for a day trip).

The Choctaw casino in Pocola is not new just the hotel and parking garage attached to it.

I don't know what the age limit at the Choctaw Pocola is, I've never seen anybody get Id'd but I have been offered a beer.
There is also the Cherokee in Roland but its crappy in comparison, only reason I would go there instead is if you are wanting to play poker.

I should have that, but they have added a lot, yes, the hotel and I think they now have a horse racing room. I know S Springs has added a race book just recently.

Maybe but I haven't seen one, I know there is an auditorium, they evacuated us to it last night because of the tornado’s. They pulled down projector screens and put on the weather news for us, maybe thats where they do the horse racing too.

btw OP I think either fort smith or siloam will be 18+ I guess they check id for the beer.
