yep, that works both ways, if the cops shot first well can't blame the guy, on the other hand if he shot first can't blame the cops. I have always had a special admiration for the police, I think 90% deserve more credit and respect than they get. For all those who say, "bad cops" I wonder if they have ever needed the help of one. I still maintain, if this case we don't know the circumstances so why do some think they are judge and jury? Of course it is sad, the old man had his life end this way, but I am not sure blaming the police is fair. bTW, thank you for doing your part to keep us safe.

We are not required to wait for someone to shoot at us. If you even go to pick up a gun, I am within my department policy to end the threat. Heaven forbid holding a gun at your side and you go to bring that bad boy up, I will stop you.
