In old zack it's rumored that a school teacher was burned alive in the old school house.
I also heard that Marshall once had a (bad sherif) so the towns people took care of him themselves. They all pitched in cash, paid a man to shoot him and then promised to pay another man to take the blame. I guess he got his money when he got out of jail.
aome local residents have said to have seen lights, fox fire, aliens and so on. Of o think of more I'll post it.
Searcy county is an interesting area, beuitifull also.

And as late as the mid 70's, there was Sheriff Loren Reeves.

I remember buying moonshine in Witts Springs in the 70's as well.
Thanks for the reminder of Buster Scott...something I had long forgotten.
