Hey. A friend of mine wants to go to Hot Springs for New Years. Ya know, just to get away from the city (Memphis). I have no idea what there is to do out there on New Years. Will everything be closed?. She mentioned she wanted to go to Magic Springs, but I'm sure they'll be closed.

So, can someone give some pointers about any attractions in Hot Springs on New Years?

Hi, I live 40 min. from HS. I'm pretty sure Magic Springs is closed. You can go to HS web site and see all of the local attractions...There are lots to do downtown...It's very nice to go there and enjoy all they have to offer...I've yet to go but someday...I d shop at the mall there but as for enjoying the downtown area I ahven't done that but I've heard great things about it...Enjoy it if you go!

There's a concert at Odie's House of Blues. The Arlington is having a party as is the Embassy Suite and the Convention Center. The least expensive night out is goingto be at the Casino/Race Track $25 per person. The hotels are all offering packages from around $100 pp.

A little birdie just told me that a certain Southern California beauty has recently become a Southern Belle and maybe looking for someone to take her out for a good welcome lunch or dinner. Wonder who that could be?

Anybody that knows about casino/race track NYE parties @ $25 per person is sure to know where to get cheap parking, too!
