So, how much do you who live in HSV think this would pay? Seems like a pretty good retirement job for a 55-yo guy.

They never give the pay on those POA jobs. They give a Pay Grade (this one is 4), but no explanation of the Pay Grades. Any of you HSV'ers know?

I've found this to be true of most job posted online....all kinds of detailed explanations of what kind of work is to be done, education, etc., but not one mention of salary paid, not even a range. A person needs to know these things before they waste their time!

IIRC, that's where the dispatcher got kidnapped and killed.

What's POA and why can't you just look up the pay scale? It has to be somewhere, doesn't it? (RIP previous dispatcher)
Radio dispatch is an important job. I love working/talking on radios!

POA = Property Owner's Association. And no, I can't find an explanation of the pay grades anywhere.

So, did this just happen recently with the lady dispatcher and that's why they're advertising for a new one? Poor lady.

Cool....as I was looking again at the POA web site, I saw that HSV has a Green Market on Thursdays. And wow, their Facebook page has some great-looking recipes!

It's been a couple or three years since she was murdered, so this job announcement probably is not related. They found her body on a isolated National Forest road.

Where is Jeff Atkins? Haven't seen him around lately. He is always a fountain of information on HSV. Maybe he could explain the pay grades and give an idea of the kind of wages a person would be looking at with a POA job.

Speaking of fountains, I was glad to see they are restoring the fountain/waterfall/pond at the west gate.

I'm here! This is completely unrelated to the murder which occured in December 2012. Her boyfriend is going to trial for the murder. For the paygrades, I suggest that you call the POA Human Resources Department. I don't know the direct line, but the main POA number is 501-922-5556.

I believe they found her in a pond, and her car was found burnt out on the road.

Pretty interesting, and damning reading on the response and investigation.

They did finally arrest the boyfriend on it, on circumstantial, and he's supposed to be going to trial this summer.
