Thank you for your quick reply. Had come to a dead end on the phone. I think I will need to go up there and TALK to people to find a place. Mountain View seems like paradise down here in faceless suburbia. If you ever get tired of natural beauty, creative spirit, and basic human courtesy, may I invite you to Plano, Texas. Our motto is: "Shop 'Til You Drop". If you like that sort of thing.

Default apts in mv

Sam I am you are wrong about there not being any apts in mv. We have four and one is right on the square and they are building on to it. As far as medical goes we have some very good doctors here and up until the tornado we had a new hospital with a brand new surgery. They will be rebuilding the hospital. We also have three grocery stores. I would suggest that if you need information on Mountain View you go to the Chamber of commerce and check it out. You are right about there not being many jobs here but, we do have a few factories at the industrial park. Mountain View also has a very nice web page so you can check that out. Mountain View is a growing area and there is land for sale east and west of town. You are also right about the winter weather if you don't live in town or on the highway it can be nasty for a while, but it usually does'nt last very long. I have lived here for almost 30years and as far as I am concerned it is still the most beautiful place to live.

You know, I just didn't recall any apartments, but I'm usually in such a big hurry to get to the cabin I'm not paying attention. Where's the third grocery store? Boy, I must run on one pig trail all the time...and lucky you to live there! That is just one great little town.

Housing: check Realtor.com and AR Realestate - most agencies subscribe to one or the other. I'm pretty sure both sites also list the web addresses of the subscribing realtors.
