The only problem I see with that is from what I've been reading walmart hasen't been doing so hot the last few years. It would take a crapload of successful start ups to equal walmart.

Heres the latest article I have read Wal-Mart scrambles to reinvent itself as sales slump- MSN Money

Amazon has its own TV shows and smart phones that let you go to walmart and take a picture of something and then offers you a better price on it and is experimenting with 30 minute drone delivery (which apparently they are still going forward with even if they have to do the testing overseas) while walmart is building souped up gas stations instead of new supercenters.

I like Jeff Bezos because even though he isn't from Arkansas he is kind of like a modern day Sam Walton. He studied Sam when he was creating Amazon and now the walmart executives are required to study him.

I've got to guffaw at these "wealthy" statements. I live in the rural Arkansas. You know, "hillbillys". We don't have large houses, or great landscaping, but most of my neighbors have over 500 acres, and 250 head of cattle or more.

When you've got 1,000 acres, 500 head of cattle, and live in a 1200 foot 3 bedroom ranch, what do you call that?

When you go out and buy new equipment, all green and yellow, and write a check for $250,000.00, what do you call that?

We don't call it wealthy, we just call it living.

BTW, as far as degrees, I've got 2, and most of my friends have at least one, if not an advanced degree.

But, fear not, you probably won't have to sit next to us in a coffee shop.

I didn't say it was, I've been in Arkansas for pretty much the last 30 years. I asked Rogmar why he has all that money and drives around barefoot....

Well, we don't need to paint with too broad a brush, I suppose, but there are lot's of places in Arkansas that absolutely is hillbilly land. Lot's of places Jeff Foxworthy could have gotten his inspiration.
Not bad things. I much much much much prefer the old Arkansas, the Arkansas that birthed the stereotypes, even though I would never move back to it. It was original and interesting at least.

Born and raised, and left not that long ago in the grand scheme of things. Let's just call it the modern era.
I still go to at least some part of the state once every week or so. Usually the northwest corridor. Occasionally Little Rock or the east.
