If you really want to see things, I would recommend Google Earth and look at it. Be sure to click pictures on the boxes to the left side of it on the list. They will show you everything pretty much. All you need is a street or hwy. and it will let you look around from the road view.

GE is one of the tools I use to look at real estate remotely. It is helpful to screen potential properties for buildability. It also gives you ability to zoom in on those pesky hog/chicken farms that might be next door to a property under consideration. The 3D rendering capability is pretty good.

I also use the platte viewers to find properties improperly linked on sites like Zillow.

These are all great tools, but you really gotta go visit and engage all your senses. You really need to talk to folks.

Last week, I had a mama bear and her cub show up two different times on two of our cameras. Hadn't see her and checked the cameras today and see why she's left. This is one big bear! If you look at the time stamps, one pic was taken last night and the other on Monday. I'm pretty sure it's the same one.

That is sooo cool. Of course my Wife would be terrified lol.
Keep a safe distance with the cub around.

We are always careful outside this time of year. I'm sure the mama and cub aren't around anymore with this large male. These pics are directly in front of my house, at the bottom of the hill that is my front yard.

We all pack a pistol if we step too far from the house.

Whats up with all the black bears showing up everywhere they never use to. I've spotted some here in the Mississippi delta.

No, the pics I've shared have been different bears, starting with a mama w/cub, a large male, now a smaller one. We do have a lot of bears here during this time of year. My property border the national forest. Sometimes we can look out of the window facing the front of the house and see a bear walking down on our driveway.
