My husband is 73 and going from full time to part time on his job. He will lose group medical insurance. He has Medicare, but I'm only 62. If I elect to apply for Cobra, since it will only be me, will It cost less then it would cost if both he and I went on Cobra? Thanks for any answer!

You should contact an insurance agent to help you with this. I don't think cobra is the way to go since it's temporary. You can get a plan on your own through an agent and depending on your income level, you may receive a subsidy. Any insurance agent that deal with health insurance will be able to calculate this for you and provide you with quotes.
