It sounds like the sentiment of someone who does not live in HSV but who has "ideas" about how everyone in HSV thinks and feels about things.

Granted, there may not be a lot of minorities in HSV but I believe that would be more about economics rather than some sort of conspiracy to keep them out. I believe the majority of people in HSV are more concerned with the content of any potential resident's character — and whether they will be quiet, peaceable, law-abiding, and neat & clean — than what the color of their skin is.

Slightly off-topic, but if you apply hand sanitizer to whatever parts have been exposed to chiggers immediately after the suspected exposure, the nasty little things won't/can't dig in. Learned this by chance when picking blackberries several years ago. Since then, I keep it in my car all the time.

Thanks, I guess when we are out today I know what we will buy for hubby. They love him and he hates them. He does spray himself but still, sometimes he misses a spot or two.

Wow, gonna try this! I want to go blackberry picking this summer so I can have some jelly made from them.
