I suggest you search the internet for golf and house prices and street rod clubs in and around Harrison. I can tell you that the town is very friendly and large enough to have all modern conveniences. I think there is a hot rod club in town. And there are definately a few mom and pop shops and catfish restaurants.

I can second that. Harrison is my home town, and I'm still here after 48 years.

A new construction home (nice) will cost 65 to 80 dollars per square foot.
Really nice older homes can be had for $50 per foot. They'll be in great shape, but may need minor updating, and NO, I'm not a realtor.

There are several places for catfish, but Catfish Wharf is the best.

Harrison has a nice golf course, with nice homes surrounding it. It is a public course. Diamond City has a nice course as well twenty miles to the north, while Branson, MO., thirty miles north has dozens of them along with ALL Kinds of restaurants, really great shopping and entertinament.

Branson is a nice place to visit, but most people wouldn't want to live there because of the incredible traffic. which all makes Harrison a pretty nice place to be. It has a small town attitude and atmosphere, yet within 30 minutes you can do anything you want to.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like my kind of place. Especially the cat fish.
