Age does start to play into the picture doesn't it?

and yes, open minded as well. Sometimes I wish I was young again and other times, I think God I grew up in the decades I did. I will take my life here anytime, just wish I had discovered NWA a few years sooner, but better late than never, as they say.

Sadly so. Optimism gives way to realism. It's just not realistic for us to make another move to Mountain Home. I would like to for several reasons. It is more diverse than where we are now in the arts and the type of lakes and medical services are adequate but starting over from scratch is not in the picture now.

I'm obviously not with the popular opinion here, but I have never understood why anyone seeks out diversity or uses it as a criteria.

oh, I am with you. I can see the reasons someone wants to experience it and yes, the younger one is the better prepared they are for diversity or want to learn more about it, but that does not mean we all would put that on our bucket lists as a reason to seek out a new location. l am willing to bet, the majority of people who really look for diversity are in a minority group themselves.
