Hope everyone’s okay out there:

Looks like the mall was heavily damaged. Coronavirus closures may have saved some lives since it happened around a peak time on a Saturday afternoon.

Never thought of it that way. Things can look bad but sometimes they have a good side.. According to the paper this morning 6 people were inured.

Twitter has some good videos of it

Absolutely crazy. It past east of my city, thankfully. My friend had one of his work places back building completely leveled. It touched down in a busy part of town on a Saturday, hit the mall, and there are only 22 injuries. Holy crap. If covid would've not been around, that mall and that part of town would've seen tons of deaths.

I'm still in shock. It seems like they're packed with volunteers, but I'll reach out as the week wears on.

Your best news source, in my opinion, is kait8.com

Here is the summary of the Jonesboro tornado from the National Weather Service. Not only was this twister big and powerful, but it was fast.....moving at speeds between 45 and 55 mph at times according to reports I've read. That is booking for a tornado of that size. When I saw images of cars being tossed and piled on top of each other plus homes reduced to rubble I thought this one may get an EF4 tag, but they determined otherwise.

If it wasn't for the Coronavirus keeping people inside and out of the stores the loss of life would have been many.

Yeah it's a really busy newer area around that mall. Could have been far more devastating.
30 years ago, that same tornado wouldn't have caused nearly as much damage.
