not necessarily. I didn't know there were so many golf courses there in around Fayetteville. Looks pretty nice, prices are amazingly affordable, and I'm keeping it on my list of possible retirement spots. Who'd have known???

So last night on Ion I saw NWA being advertised as such a great "affordable" place to live. Reminded me that for giggles I put in an application for this thing. I do work remote and looking at houses now to move this fall to the area. I never heard back. Nothing, not even a sorry you don't meet our criteria or anything. So I really think it is a gimmick and so they don't get sued they pick like 2 people to give money to. I wasn't expecting to get the money. But anyone looking at applying, it really is a waste of effort.

Advertising like that......
Tale-tale sign to stay away. It's inevitably going to become the very thing people are trying to escape.
Besides, it's no longer as affordable as it should be.
