Does anyone have any info on the Hope, AR area? Is it a good place to live?

Well, that depends on what you consider "good."

I haven't heard anything bad about it.

I just don't like the vibe.

When I think about Hope, AR I think....ugh....and godforsaken.

I've been to Hope, Hot Springs, Texarkana, Arkadelphia, Little Rock, Fort Smith, Fayetteville, West Memphis, Bentonville, Eureka Springs, and a number of other places in Arkansas. I live in the Houston metro in Texas.

Just another poor little town next to the interstate.
Crime a bit on the high side.
No growth, losing population.
Cheap housing. It has a couple of decent neighborhoods.
Being Mike and Bubba’s hometown hasn’t brought fortune to go with its fame.
Wouldn’t be hard to improve upon, even at the same price point.
I like the countryside of southern Arkansas which is forested and not very hilly, but probably wouldn’t live there.
