I live in West Ohio about 15 mins from Wapakoneta Ohio that got hit. It was indeed a tornado that touched down. They ruled it EF1. Many businesses are damaged, TA truck stop damaged, will be back up and running in 2 weeks, camp ground damages, Koneta Rubber a mess, Tomato growing plant is gone, completely collapsed, many homes damaged, 7 injured. I do know one did touch down about 3 mins west of me in Mercer County and went northeast. I hunkered in my tiny bathroom with 3 dogs and hubby. The sound was so deafening. Mind you I am deaf without my cochlear implants. I had my implants on, the sirens was drowned out by the winds. Then all of the sudden the winds stopped abruptly and all I heard was sirens. My hubby went out to make sure we were ok. Lots of trees down, homes damaged, 1 business got hit bad north of me.
