We had 3" at my house. It was beautiful, especially when the sun came out.

Hardly any snow at my place (Ozarks of north Arkansas)

If I looked up at my black house shingles, I could detect slight traces of light snow on the roof.

It wasn't visible on the cars or on the lawn.

From the pics and reports I saw, we seem to have gotten way more than others. The only way to get in and out was 4x4 truck. I even had to get snow boots on and shovel off the steps and porch.

We got none: Thursday we had flurries but nothing more. Apparently he didn't get north of 412. I had mixed feelings: i love a little of it but we were having 3 couples in for cocktails and appetizers at 5pm yesterday.. I didn't want to cancel.

Did anyone else watch American Experience on PBS tonight? It was about the Titan missile that exploded in Damascus in 1980. I was a brand new young policeman and this is the first time I learned there was a 5 megaton hydrogen bomb warhead that was thrown into that field. If it would have exploded ... going to have nightmares tonight I think.

Awhile back the Little Rock paper did an extensive coverage of that.

I cut it out and mailed it to my brother-in-law in Minnesota as he worked building missile silos in eastern North Dakota in 1964.

Titan in Arkansas - That was quite a deal. I remember it well. If any readers are ever in the Tucson Arizona area you need to go visit the Titan Museum between Tucson and Green Valley, if it's still open. It's an humbling experience, especially if you have any personal experience with that defense plan, and know about the Arkansas explosion.
