Hi-
I'm driving to Russellville to see a friend but I donno yet when.

What are the Best Restaurant(s) in Russellville(?)

I love Feltner's Whatta-Burger!! I ate there as a semester long student at Univ. Ozarks Clarksville before trans. to Texas Tech for something cheaper where I got a degree in Human Development. I haven't been to Russellville since Fall 2001.

Thanks,
fallguy

Off topic, but how did you like the University of the Ozarks at Clarksville?

Stoby's is pretty good and cool. The cheese dip they're so locally famous for is more than a bit overrated in my opinion but overall they're a good place. Cagle's Mill in the Holiday Inn is one of the places to go for something upscale-ish. For something quick and cheap, Taco John's is a local fixture too. If you're in the mood for Chinese, then Madame Wu's is very good as is the little place on Main on the west side of town (can't remember the name of it.)

For a town of it's size, Russellville actually has a pretty decent complement of mid range non-chain eating establishments.

There are not many Taco John's left in this part of the country. I remember them being all over West Tennessee a couple of decades ago but no more.

The one in Russellville is still there!

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing it still in business last time I went through there (couple of months ago).

Thank you to all respondents...I'll take your suggestions under advisement.

Talk to you when I return from Russellville.

Thanks again,

-Taco Villa on 4th St. is good. The one by Tech, not so much
-Taco John's rocks!
-Stoby's is pretty good. Misss the cheese dip!
-CJ's Burgers on Knoxville is good
-Whattaburger had kinda gone down hill for a while, but the last time I had it before I moved was really good
-If you want an adult beverage with your meal, Savannah's in Dardenelle is good.

In the almost 4 years I lived there, I never went to the Supper Club. Heard it was good

They are still very common up in the Upper Midwest, such as Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa. There are plenty of them in Wyoming and Montana also. I have seen one Hendersonville, KY about six years ago. Sioux Falls, SD has between a half dozen to a dozen of Taco John's. I love their potato oles.
