Saw a link to this place to rent on the Ark. diamond mine site . It rents for 125.00 per night + 15.00 per xtra adult. Looks good in the website photo. That's about as good as it gets. Inside of the place is terrible. Carpets are dirty and stained and smelly. Same with the furniture. The whole house has a bad smell. The interior is unfinished crappy paint. The plumbing in the kitchen leaked and the light fixture in the bedroom shortred out. For the money we expected a better place to stay. If you are tempted, you may want to ask for inside photos before you pay up.

Also, we ate at Buddy's Cafe in town. He asked how we liked the BBQ and when we said it was a bit too much vinegar, he said that was our problem not his. I guess because they have the only game in town they don't feel they have to respect you as they take your money.

I trout fish a lot in that area. Going tomorrow as a matter of fact. I don't know about the cabins but we always eat @ Buddy's and I have never had any problem there. He is always just as nice as can be. Love the CFS.
