In just one month, hubby and I will be on our working holiday at Mountain Home. I have already sent out some resumes but would like to hear from locals; who are the major hiring players? Hubby has airmens license, can work on planes, helicopters or in water plants. I can do office admin, funeral services, property manager...a little bit of everything. Any ideas of what companies to send resumes to for go-sees? Thanks in advance!

Baxter county Sheriff has a helicopter.
Baxter Medical on 5 north is a major employer, as is Baxter Regional Medical Center and related offices.

good luck and good for you. I wish I could help you with possible jobs, but I don't know that much about the area. I do know, a of people who live there wouldn't live anywhere else.
