I grew up in southwest Arkansas (DeQueen) and I remember as a child going swimming one time at this place I believe was called Cedar Bluff. I have searched and searched for it but I cant remember if it was in Gillham or Wickes. Does anyone know where I am talking about and how to get there from DeQueen?

It's been a while since your post, but I'll put in my two-bits worth anyway. Unfortunately, there are lots of "Cedar Bluff" names in SW Arkansas, but for what it's worth; Last month I was doing some archeology work for the Ouachita National Forest. We were looking for (and found) an old pioneer cemetery (late 19th century) on a high bluff above the Cossatot River and the ONF refers to the area as "Cedar Bluff". We turned west at Vandervoort and went back in there for about 15 miles following county roads until they turned into ONF roads. This probably is no help but thought I would pass it along.

The area you are talking about is located west of gillham on the rolling fork river. When you come to Gillham, AR take Mineral Rd, You will go about a mile and take a left on Cedar Bluff rd. You will follow this road all the way to cedar bluff. you cant miss it because the rd ends at the swimming hole. Just remember to stay on the main rd and when you come to any intersections in the rd hang to the right.

Hello, On their app they only ask if you have been convicted of a felony and not misdemeanors. Will Maverick overlook misdemeanors if you have a good driving record? Will Maverick send out pre-hire letters? I would like to get in their Flatbed fleet since their specialized division has a long waiting list. Maverick is the only flatbed company that I have not heard anything bad about.

No place is good when one has asthma, but you could do a whole lot better than Arkansas.

One of the assets of this state is it's wealth of trees, grasses, and bushes, which makes the pollen count horrible.

If you lived in a cityscape, with lots of concrete and pavement, you still have the risk of animal dander.
