I have never gotten a flu shot and have only had the flu once in my life..knock on wood! Most people I have known who get a flu shot every year get the flu every year, while I never due, with the exception of that one year. To me the odds are better if you don't get the shot. On the other hand the H1N1 virus is super tough and they are claiming that it will infect such a large number and that such a large number will die as a result that you have to really consider it. I am debating whether I and my family should get the shot or not. But as it sits right now, it's doubtful.

You would be wrong. It isn't debatable.

Wow, that was quite rude. That is your opinion, and in my experience it has been better to not get one.

wow, I never thought a disussion on whether to get a shot or not would bring out so much debate with even FOX news being right or wrong being brought into it? Some people will do anything to get their point across.

As for me, I haven't decided yet, the thought of getting the flu scares the heck out of me, I usually get a shot but this is another strain. I am just not sure..Last year I did get my usual shot but picked up a virus and was sick as a dog for about 4 weeks.

One advantage of being over 60 is that the H1N1 virus appears to be hitting an age group younger than me.

That is similar to the 1918 flu epedemic and every Memorial weekend I place a flower on the grave of my aunt who died in 1918 from the flu at age 33 ( she was a single school teacher who died teaching in a state away from home )

Now, that's what I'm talking about. WHO know what the government puts in that shot. In Baltimore, they are taking volunteers to take this shot ~~ human guinea pigs. I'm just not convinced, AS OF YET. Gimme a while.

I think its a personal choice as with ALL shots. I choose not to give my shots to my children. They are very healthy... Never had an ear infection till the age of 2 then both only had one once. I think that if the gov. wants everyone to take them they need to be a little more open about whats in them and how its been tested first.... But usually the gov. isnt very cooperative with these kinds of things

But again its a personal choice, same with religion, politics.... We all have our own personal right

Geez, for all you people who are undesided I really dont know where to start? Hmm, how about Avian flu inside vacines.

"Deerfield, Illinois-based pharmaceutical company Baxter International Inc. has just been caught shipping
live avian flu viruses mixed with vaccine material to medical distributors in 18 countries".

Vaccines as Biological Weapons? Live Avian Flu Virus Placed in Baxter Vaccine Materials Sent to 18 Countries by Mike Adams the Health Ranger

How about Aids tanted vacines manufactued by Bayer and Baxter corperation.

YouTube - BAYER AND BAXTER KNOWINGLY INFECTED HEMOPHILIAC PATIENTS WITH HIV/AIDS TAINTED VACCINE!!

This is a old broadcast of a 60 minutes documentary on a woman who took a vaccine and became paralyzed shortly after; she regained some of her ability to move but shes not back to 100% nor will she ever be. Why did she become paralyzed? Well, certain ingredients in vaccines damages or destroys nerve tissue (neurotoxins).

The 1918 flu killed 675,000 Americans and this was before passenger airplanes which will assure that this version of H1N1 spreads much quicker and to a much greater percentage of the population. This is going to be like nothing any of us has seen in our lifetimes. There has been very little medical progress in determining the cause of and the control of flu since 1918.
