Is anything in bloom yet? Pear trees? Daffodils? Anything?

I'm making a trip to Hot Springs Village tomorrow and trying to decide if I should bring a camera. That's Saline County, about an hour west of Little Rock. I don't mind shooting a pear tree in a parking lot but I'm not going to bother bringing the camera if there's nothing at all in bloom yet.

Please don't just give me a schedule for what should be in bloom. That's a very sweet thought, but this year is not typical. I want to know the reality if anything actually is in bloom.

I don't know about Hot Springs, but I was in Fayetteville earlier this week and nothing was in bloom. Not even close.

You could e-mail Garvan Gardens directly and ask what's in bloom right now.

Nothing at all up here but our Crab Apple tree is starting to get little red buds so it should be in a couple of weeks, if not sooner and our Crucus is coming up. HSV is far enough south there may be a few things blooming. According to the weather tonight, our spring is going to a awhile away and below normal in temps.

I just responded to this on the L.R. Thread but will give you a double shot. I was in Hot Springs Monday and out and about in the boonies over there last week and I saw nothing blooming. The daffodils and forsythia should be coming out by now but I haven't seen any.
