my son paid half his bond, failed to pay the 2nd half and ended up back in jail. Now the bondsmen says they are going to seize all the property in my house until the other half is paid and that they are going to revoke his bond. Can they do that? my name is nowhere on the bond.

They can if your property was used to secure the bond. If it was used as collateral. That's my understanding, but I'm no lawyer. What type of bail bond was it?

Bondsmen like to use threats. But they can revoke a bond and frequently do. Contact an attorney.

Your son cannot sign collateral property over to anyone if he does not own it. This must go through the court and you would have to sign and agree to it and you would have a receipt for the contract. Your son being legal age..?.. can sign over HIS personal property, but that would have to be listed on the contract and they would not have taken his word for it. The responsibility is his alone to pay. The bondsman would have to go to court to get permission to take any property not agreed to give up in the contract or otherwise stated as equal property amounts. If they do show up, make sure and contact the sheriff if he is not there.
Contact the bondsman and tell him to send you a copy of the bond agreement including the terms and conditions and where it explains his right to seize YOUR property for collateral. You can also find the judge handling the case and call him.
Otherwise get an attorney. You are being bullied and that can be illegal in some states/counties.
The bond is revoked so your son will stay in jail probably on a separate charge that he failed to meet the contract as well. Not good.

I don't think we're getting the full story from the OP.
