These tourist receipt goes into the tourist economy. Thus it is concentrated within the tourist centers like Bali and Yogyakarta. It doesn't matter because Indonesian economy is not dependent on tourism. Whatever the case, there are more tourist going to Indonesia and they spend much more than filipino tourists visiting their homeland.

But take a look at this:
BPO sectors in the Ph, as considered permanent industry would hit usd 25B by 2016. What about that?
I don't know if have this kind of other revenue factor.

source
PH BPO revenue up 15% in 2013

Also, This one is very exciting, it will challenge your position soon in the FDI areas that your country is enjoying so far.

The amendment of Philippine FDI policy soon, to further attract Direct FDI and a much relax policies..
Remember Ph has enough labor force, cheap labor as well, natural resources, and best among everything the english communication skills that pinoys have.

Just sharing by the way
That's the revenue of the BPO sector. Do you know how much the revenue of major sectors like coal and palm oil is?

You post news about the possibility of increasing FDI. If Malaysia and Vietnam, prospectie economies in themselves, are getting fewer FDI despite being more open, how could you claim that the Phils will suddenly shoot if it opens up? These are worthless speculations..

sorry for my tone, by the way. I get carried away sometimes.

3 million of those travel to Bali, thats significant figure, vietnam is more comparable to ph but the tourism is more appealing and successful.

Indonesia should really be the leading producer given its population and land area.
