Singapore offers visitors a safe experience, an efficient way for travelling around and you can get to all the tourist attractions easily. Public transport is easy to get used to, and most residents speak English, though not all speak fluently.

KL is more of a place that you need some guts to explore yourself. It is more haphazard, yet these experiences are sometimes all the more rewarding for the travelers.

I would say Singapore for the family with young children that needs supervision, KL for the independent travelers with less baggage..
