Has the best environment (just the overall feeling of it)- Tokyo
Most modern- Tokyo
Best food- not Singapore
Best shopping- Hong Kong
Best nightlife- Not sure
Best women (not slutty, but quality women)- Not sure
Nicest apartments (are they crappy/rundown or do they seem well taken care of?)- If money isn't a issue, any major city is okay.

Superficially, Japanese is attention trophy. I believe Chinese reference is the beginning of the mainland Asia that we think of in the 2000’s. Southeast Asian star is just multimillionaire saturated beyond skeptical belief. Sorry, Beijing is not representing quality of life for pollution emissions, and is waiting to fix these urgent issues. Remaining of China is not even close to that emerging ecological catastrophe. Please just solve surrounding obvious. Mount Fuji is just undeniably stunning for Tokyo’s own geographic place. Outside of Beijing, I have equal alliance with every available variable.
Overall speaking, the best must be Tokyo. Nice place, nice food, nice people, good living environment. The only problem is language. If you don't know Japanese, it may be no good to stay long. So, Singapore comes the second for long stay but the cost of living is a bit high. Accommodation and food is a bit higher than Japan.
Hong Kong is no good anymore. Even Malaysia is better than Hong Kong now when you think Malaysia is semi-developed but they have democracy to a certain extent. All people has election right. They can decide and choose their ruling party. Do Hong Kong people have any say? No, nothing!

Hong Kong has no democracy but plenty of political freedom.
Singapore has zero democracy and little political freedom.

You can never vote in a foreign country anyway. Hong Kong does give full political rights to permanent residents (even with a foreign passport). So you can become a policeman with a US passport (only).
No other country does that.
