Well it really depends where in Asia you are flying too.

I have flown to China twice on United and the flights were fine. But I ordered a special meal and didn't get it one of the flights. Within China, I have flown on Shandong Airlines and China Eastern and I really liked the service on China Eastern.

I have flown to Israel on several different airlines including Tower Air (defunct), El Al, British Airways, Turkish Airlines and Delta. If one is concerned about security, one should definitely fly El Al which has unmatched security of an other airline. If one is concerned about price, Turkish Airlines is the way to go but their food got me sick. I would say my best experience was on British Airways.

A friend of mine recently flew EVA Air and had good things to say about it.

Enjoyed flying Cebu-Pacific...from, to/and around the Philippines. They fly international now, I believe. Fun crew, lighthearted, attentive, friendly and caring. Check it out...but I believe they fly from U.S. direct to Cebu City...instead of Manila. A lot easier airport to get in and out of...compared to Manila...which can be a nightmare.

I've flown Korean Air, Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Philippine Airlines, Thai Airways, Siberian airlines, China Airlines, Air France and Cathay Pacific. For LCC's, AirAsia, Jetstar Asia, PALex, CebuPac, TigerAir.

Ranking based on my experience:
1. Singapore Airlines
2. Turkish Airlines
3. Cathay Pacific
4. AirFrance
5. Thai Airways
6. Philippine Airlines - infariness, smooth landing and take off as always.
7. Korean Air - it was too hot on the plane in the entire flight.
8. Siberian Airlines

25 years ago, I thought Thai Air was wonderful. An orchid on every seat.

SQ went down hill, but has improved. Never worse than a 8 out of 10.
