That is definitely not true (the dating part, especially--marriage is a bit trickier). Dating is also a fairly different concept from "willing to sleep with just anyone,"

Twenty years ago, dating was for marriage only. It's changed a little now, but real "good" women are still quite traditional in a sense.

I don't know what your definition of real "good" women is then. I was thinking the women I met who were intelligent, well-educated, came from good and sometimes very affluent families and often held well-paying jobs. They were oftentimes physically attractive as well. That seemed to qualify as real "good" women, but we might have different standards.

For example, those who graduated from top universities, raised in middle class urban families, and do not have "unfortunate" records.
You have to understand that once a Chinese woman dates foreigners, most Chinese men will not accept her any more. So it is risky. (I know it sounds bad but it is the reality.)

Yea, the first sentence was what I was talking about. The second one, I don't care about it. If other people will be like that, then fine, there are plenty of other good prospects which won't mind.
I understand the mentality you're talking about. I browse Chinese language forums on occasion. In my opinion, and I don't demand you share it at all, I think it's incredibly backwards and stupid. For all the griping that the men on those forums have about Chinese women and the supposed lack of good quality women, well, they pretty much reaped what they sowed and I don't have any sympathy for them. Stay lonely or marry "down" from where you are because I don't see why women should bend the knee to this kind of stupidity.

I met a Chinese woman last year who used to date a Belgian guy. The Belgian guy was even able to encourage her to become Catholic. After awhile, the guy left for his religious calling. Now the girl is getting married to her Chinese boyfriend.
But anyway, her Belgian ex boyfriend for sure, respected her a lot since the guy was very religious.
most of those guys are just fetishists who will tap anything with an asian looking face, they are not getting the top quality girls.
I agree... although I have seen some in the Philippines ( in the capital ) some very good looking men with good jobs for sure with model like Filipino girlfriends who seem to come from reputable schools in the Philippines and ones who are from the upper class. But of course, it's still more common to see white men with simple women.
