^ I have seen Germans and Swedish people with caramel colors as well, they are just naturally more of that color but of course they have many fair skinned people as well.....but honestly I have seen more fair skinned Koreans in person than tanned ones, especially in their movies and tv series.

But that skin color is very rare for women in the media. It's like Filipinos realize that the rest of the world likes that skin color, so they make sure Miss Philippines is always brown, but Filipinos themselves don't like that skin color.

Rest of the world? Japan, Korea, China, Thailand, Pakistan, most of Asia and many part of Eastern Europe prefer fair skin tones as well.
The pageant system does not represent the world's preference
well then I dont know why the Philippines keeps sending brown skinned women to the Miss Universe Pageant. There are plenty of bleached-skinned women they could send.
^ It doesn't seem to be the case for Latin America though because they always send white contestants, even though most of those countries aren't majority white
People are actually looking at the faces too not just skin color. Filipina color are shaded from being Light to dark skinned tone.
Filipino media needs more of this^^. They're closer to the average Filipino skin color. It's a bit ridiculous when Filipinos consider her a morena
