Southern Phetchaburi and Southern Chonburi?
It takes almost 4 hours to drive from Hua Hin to Pattaya, the bridge would save you at least 90 mins.

Only 90 minutes? Looking at it on a map it doesn't seem worth it, really, considering how long the bridge would be as well. I don't think the King wants a lot of whoremongers flooding into Hua Hin either haha.

It's not only about the 90 mins saving time, Bangkok highways would see less traffic too.
Maybe it would be better to have the bridge from Northern Prachuap Khiri Khan instead Southern Phetchaburi.

If the gulf was a lot longer, maybe it'd be worth it, but considering this bridge would be over 60 km long? Maybe a tunnel, not a bridge, a bridge would be more vulnerable to weather and also sort of an eyesore in a way. Would be tremendously expensive though, I don't think any benefits would justify the cost. There are cheaper options to alleviate traffic.
