My daughter and I have been invited to dinner at her friend's home. I am thrilled as I LOVE Thai food. The girls are 9 years old, btw. I wanted to bring a nice gift and was thinking of maybe a family board game, but not sure if this is on target or not. I didn't want to bring flowers as I was hoping to bring something that would be more of a keepsake and maybe a little piece of American culture.
Any suggestions? The mother has shared with me that she doesn't have any friends yet and this is her daughter's first "play date" with my daughter.
