I'd say China, Japan, India would be the top 3 that would be talked about

Among White men who have Asian fever, the 3 most talked about Asian countries are Philippines, Thailand, and a toss up between China and Japan.

I'd say, among the PUA, *****-mongering circles, Thailand and the Phils for obvious reasons...

Among nerdy Japophiles, otaku types, and some PUA's it's Japan.

It varied according to region...

LA: China, Japan, Korea; to a lesser extent Vietnam.
Seattle: China, Japan, Philippines
SF: China, Japan, India; to a lesser extent, Korea and Vietnam
Boston: China, Japan, India

China and Japan are probably the preeminent countries that people talk about overall; they're the ones with the most exposure over a few generations and who have the most tied up with the US politically these days so it makes sense.

Korea is a big one in Socal, because it's got what's often claimed to be the largest number of Koreans outside Korea. You also hear it in tech circles because of their tech development. Then, of course, to nerds it's basically what Japan was in the 80's and 90's... images of wanting school girls and being respected for being a bookish nerd float up like images of a hazy springtime afternoon in the ripples of a pond...

Vietnam has a presence as a holdover from that little war we had 40/50-ish years ago, though nowadays our relations are totally benign. In areas of California, WA, and TX where there are lots of Vietnamese immigrants and they families, they're somewhat more at the forefront. Same goes for Filipinos in areas where they have a presence. They're very well integrated into LA, SF and Seattle to the point that they're just sort of thought of as anyone else
