North Korea fired about 5 missiles into South Korean waters about 2hr30mins ago (6pm local time, 5am EST). Apparently the missiles from the North were very close to hitting the South Korean navy vessels. South Korea returned fire with 2 guided missiles. Nearby island Yeonpyeongdo (was shelled by NK a few years back and 4 people were killed) is now evacuating. I wonder if this is considered a provocation?
