Should black people just confine themselves to their home town's radius their whole lives? Grow some skin and see the world. Safety should be your main concern, not harsh language. Your perspective would reflect positively on your home community.
Sure there are racism everywhere. But at least in China and Korea, you have a high degree of curiosity and funny generalizations based on ignorance and the relatively homogeneous nature of these societies (though China is also hugely diverse, but still overwhelming Han dominated and Han chauvinism is everywhere). But in Russia and also in some areas of England and Germany where football thugs rule, it's downright dangerous to be black, gay or different in any shape or form.
I think that in many ways, Europeans are more violent and vicious than East Asians.
So they base it on the fact that cab drivers pick up Koreans before black people? I bet they pick Koreans up before white people too.
Get back to me when a black person is killed for being black in Korea. And while you're at it, maybe share how bad it is to be white in an African country.
If you want an honest answer, go to YouTube and search for this topic. From what I've seen people of African descent have overwhelmingly positive experiences while traveling in Asia, even Korea. The worst thing I think people of African descent do is listen to people of western European descent telling them how they'll be treated in other parts of the world. Find out for yourself and break away from western culture/brainwashing. It's 2014....
