Actually Indonesia has more hospital beds per capita- 1.2 per 1,000 vs 1.0 per 1,000 for the Philippines. It's physicians per capita that Philippines has slightly more of. 0.4 physicians per 1,000 people in Indonesia vs. 0.6 per 1,000 in the Philippines
So the Philippines and Indonesia are essentially equal in that regard. But why does a much wealthier country (Indonesia) have around the same number of hospital beds and physicians as a much poorer country (the Philippines)??

You must know that those many filipino study as physicians want to work abroad to get better money. Most of them which are not qualified work with less wage in Philippines.
Meanwhile, its not dream for indonesian work abroad as physicians. We have more bed to cure, and hope we can hire cheap Filipino physicians soon
