And don't teachers teach world history in Taiwanese schools? I don't think anyone is qualified to be a teacher if s/he lacks moral or ethical common sense.
Yeah you're right. Sorry.

Yes they do, but people just don't think too much about the Nazi as it was in Europe. Like I said Taiwanese people are very ill-informed and uneducated in general.

The students and the teacher went to the Israeli representatives to apologise afterwards iirc.

yes, nazi was in Europe, but they made many innocent people suffer a lot. we should feel sorry for that, nazi is so cruel to human beings. when we asian cosplay nazi, it is not respectful. 己所不欲勿施于人(do not do to others what you would not like to be done to you )

Nazi days are common in Thailand, too, but it looks like the Taiwanese did a better job with their uniforms.

Not blaming the kids. But, the teachers are idiots. Every few years since I've been here (more than 3 decades) there is a media stir about some Taiwanese store or restaurant or government publication using Nazi themes.

So, while the kids can be excused for not knowing about Nazis, the adults have no excuse.

And by the way, there is a whole group of Taiwanese people who like to dress up as Nazis and WW2 German military...
