China had more foreign men and women than India due to better perceived safety, more income and jobs for foreigners. There are some members in this forum who are foreigners in China but few or none in India.
Hong Kong would have been great without violent protestors and protestors harassing shops in malls. They scared all visitors, mainland Chinese, their foreign spouses and other foreigners.
Taipei, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Osaka and Mumbai should be ranked lower than those with more visible international demographics. Their hugh population have few foreigners included.
Hangzhou and Macau are rich, but that just make them rank with Brunei city.
Bangkok was visited by large number of foreigners, but it is not rich.

India's rankings on this list sucks, no doubt about it. But does not mean that it is OK to leave out a city to make the Chinese rankings look rosier than it is.
I don't eny Chinese achievements. But having seen Mumbai with obscene wealth next to utter poverty I am not sure what these rankings mean in real life. Maybe it would have been better if Mumbai had less billionaires but the median income of the city was much better and those in slums are not in those any more.
