Spiral Buffet in Sofitel Manila.

These are different nationalities who tried and proved it.

Best food is very subjective in nature. That poll about rendang and nasi goring getting top 1 and 2 is so fishy. Might be the poll respondenders were mostly from Indonesia haha. Jk

Not to mention we have some of the biggest shopping malls in the world. And did you know that they are only located in one single street/road?

Here's the list of the shopping centers and malls in the whole of Metro Manila.

I'll think twice to do the same since, let's be real, either Jakarta or Manila is not even the best in Southeast Asia when we talk about entertainment.
Manila is building an entire entertainment district. It’s more than halfway done right now. There are already 4 huge casinos, resorts, all kinds and restaurants and entertainment

It’s 8 sq KM, so it’s not a small area. And it’s literally built from the ground up because it’s reclaimed land. So it’s like an entire new city solely devoted to entertainment and leisure.

Yeah right, lets accept the fact that Jakarta is nowhere near to be the best when it comes to entertainment in Southeast Asia, but Manila is, Bangkok is so far the only one that can outdo it but even that is subjective. With the constant building up the entertainment infrastructure, Manila is on the right track to be the entertainment hub of Southeast Asia and hopefully the whole Asia.

And they call it boring? Where have they been living all this time to call it as such.

These are the most walkable areas in Jakarta? All I see is a sidewalk and hardly any people walking around because the sidewalk isnt connected to anything. They are next to a road on one side and on the other side are bushes. Is this really the most walkable part of Jakarta?

Can you see the difference between that video and these Manila videos?

There are actually restaurants and stores right next to the sidewalk. The sidewalk literally goes into the stores. There are outdoor cafes on the sidewalk. On the other side of the sidewalk, there are areas where people can sit and hang out. There are green areas. People want to walk around and be outside. That's what makes Manila a more walkable city. Your second video is a mall rooftop. We have lots of mall rooftops in Manila. Malls should not be your examples of walkable areas.

But if you want to use malls as an example, look at Greenbelt in Makati. It's green, very connected to the outdoors, unique, and walkable. It feels more like a park surrounded by restaurants and stores than a mall

See all the outdoor cafes and people walking around outside? This is what Manila is constantly trying to add more of when it builds more CBDs. Jakarta doesnt seem to care about that aspect of urban life.

But of course you'll keep highlighting the negatives because you cant cope up and compete with almost all aspect of the positives.

LRT JKT passes the Rasuna Sahid, we can see being worked on and how LRT JKT will pass through the luxurious building some apertement , My imagine LRT passengers will see Jakarta with the beauty from inside train . which will definitely not pass through perumahan kumuh , Jakarta now provides mass transportation that is so comfortable for the people and of course Jakarta in the future will be a developed city ... we cannot compete or it will look like New York, Manhattan or London is too far a comparison . Jakarta will always imitate Singapore because the neighbor closest to Jakarta, that's why Jakarta will become a developed city

Nahh to MRT JKT will passes through the Elite Sudirman - Thamrin area, but unfortunately we cannot see the skyscrapers Jakarta , because in the area the train passes through the underground station, which is definitely all modern from purchasing tickets the community will use Vending Machine / TVM, will be available several shops, luxury restaurants , hangout place and preservation .. cooming soon
