MRT 3 is already 20 years old. It's currently undergoing rehabilitation. New trains and faster trains are being added

The nicest line right now is LRT 2 because it's the newest line and the trains are much wider

MRT 7 will be finished next year and the line is 23 km. The trains will be the same size as the LRT 2 trains. By Landove's definition, it will count as a subway. So that means we'll have 3 subway lines by 2025, and 2 of them will be completely underground.

Budget is problem ( masalah finansial ) even in Jakarta provided a large budget for Asian games 2018 but after completion Asian Games there is still a budget remaining. Jakarta's target is the Olympics and host of the World Cup 2034 not to Sea Games 2019

Sea Games is a small ivent why Manila have a problem with that? It's a shame that hopefully the problems in Manila can be overcome
Yeah Jakarta is targeting big events or World Class sports such as the Olympics and World Cup , Jakarta is always not have a problem with budget or sports facilities

Jakarta MRT deserves to be called Subway🚄✔because it runs in a tunnel Benhil Subway Station has the deepest depth of the others station Subway MRT Jakarta

I remember tomorrow there will be a free trial day for the public and starting April 1, tickets will take effect.

Jakarta MRT was built because Jakarta's target is for office workers who have cars in Sudirman -Thamrin to be able to switch to the Jakarta MRT, pitty to see Jakarta full of cars that cause traffic jams

Jakarta's target is for office workers🤞

hope Jakarta MRT passengers will never be quiet🤞

In the English language, it’s fairly common to refer to heavy rail rapid transit as subway regardless if it’s elevated, underground, or even at-grade. The important part is high frequency, high capacity, and separation from traffic.

So Landove is wrong because with your definition Manila had long have had subway(s) already?

Anyway, this is getting more pathetic. Let's just call them MRT or underground stations. Otherwise, go ahead continue with these non-sense.

Yea, it’d be commonly understood in the US what you’re referring to. MRT would actually be the more confusing and uncommon term. You’d also be able to say take the train, but the issue with that is that it’s more ambiguous.

In NYC, the Subway series of baseball is still the subway series despite the stations for both stadiums being above ground elevated transit. NYC’s subway system actually incorporates a massive amount of elevated or exposed rail but it’s all just referred to the subway. This is just the common parlance. I get that other regions develop their own forms of English or English as a second language, but in US English, this is perfectly acceptable.

Ok, so that means Jakarta has a subway and Manila has a subway. Solved that debate
