Anything interesting around those 'hipster hangouts'....I mean, are the isolated places? or are they in large cool neighborhoods, that might be conducive to exploring and checking out?

Where is the Venetian-like mall-like area? That's another area, that is new, and I haven't seen. I think its somewhere either in BGC as well, or near it...

Nice recommendation, BGC....I visited a friend who showed me that area at night. It would definitely be an interesting area to get to know more.
For me BGC is better enjoyed during daytime. Although nightlife is also vibrant but more into the social elites.

Venice Grand Canal Mall is in McKinley Hill. It is also an area full of expats, same setting as Eastwood. It is just near(SW) BGC and is also under the city of Taguig.

Looks like they are not isolated and are within or near CBDs, some shows located on SM malls. The places are from bunch of areas scattered all over the metro. Most of them are in Quezon City though. So we have every reason to say they are interesting and fun. After all, Quezon City is the entertainment capital of the metro and the Phils as a whole.
