In each city for a few days ... toyed with the idea of going to Hue, but given the amount of destruction during the way it seemed like a possible waste of time. In any event, we don't even have any plans for these two cities, ha ha.

6 days in Hoi An
2.5 days in Da Nang

Hue is an amazing place and should not be missed. There is no "destruction" except for parts of the citadel, but it's all part of history and still worth seeing. The countryside is also beautiful.
Da Nang I see as more of an industrial town.

Now in Da Nang for two days before heading back home. Any ideas of what to see in the city itself?

In DaNang - go to the marble mountains and explore the caves as well hike to the top. Pretty cool stuff! Also enjoy some drinks and food along the river and gaze at their bridge architecture. At night the dragon bridge breathes fire!

I thought this was only on Saturday and Sunday, fire breathing?
