Aceh became an area of cultural diversity. Yes, the term Aceh which is defined with Arabic, Chinese, European, Indies abbreviations is not just a mere ecapan thapan. Ultimately, Aceh was born from various cultures that assimilate into one. At least many of the "fossils" of culture, buildings, cuisine, and descendants of Aceh are witnesses to prove that Aceh exists because of the cultures of the country

Though sadly, a lot of them live in the part of Aceh that was smashed up by the 2004 earthquake and tsunami (which is the western coast of Aceh). Though it is good to note, judging from the documentary posted above, they still survived somehow.

Yeah right, their population has been reduced due to the tsunami ( almost extinct )
I feel they are very unique they have physical appearance like golden blond hair, fair skin , beautiful eye color like european, even if compared with other indonesian people who have half blood Europe almost difficult to find those who have blond hair when they baby or grow into children. if you notice the host girl in that vidio she also has European offspring from Italian even she is different from the kids like hair and skin she is shocked see the kids especially blonde hair and their skin, she said wow amazing they are very bule 'europid', look at their hair .well I think the descendants of portuguise in Aceh should to marry again with Caucasians to keep the purity of Caucasian blood for their next generation

ACEH is under Islamic SHARIA LAW...they cane people for being gay, etc. It is 98% Muslim, and among the 2% that are not Muslim, the Christian churches in particular, are being ordered to close down, and there was a recent case of one being burned down, just this last year or two.

You can't find an example of the 2% and find the rarest example (a eurasian) and claim the entire area is like that. That's like me finding the whitest of whitest area of the united states (Northern Idaho maybe?) and looking for the most exotic among their non-whites (a Eurasian among them, for example), and claiming that Northern Idaho is some amazing cultural diverse area.

One example doesn't nullify the real reality.

East Timor is where the Portuguese settled in the Indonesia region. They would have something similar to Macau, with it's own twist.

--------------

ACEH is a mess. Aceh is well-known as the most Islamic, most conservative, most homophobic, and most everything extreme, throughout Indonesia.

It's where Sharia Law exists. ACEH, INDONESIA:

I know a Thai woman, born in the 60s, with blue eyes. She speaks Khmer and is from a border area. We joke with her about her papa being a soldier, and she says everyone says that. She showed me a picture of her mom...same blue eyes. Blue eyes are recessive. Perhaps it was the Portuguese in her case, as well.
