You can deny it as much as you wantvbut IMO, it looks like you are a classical victim of fear mongering and brain washing tactic by the Modi govt.

Actually Real Estate market, Property Prices have not risen much in last 4-5 years. Demonetisation hit the job sector, agriculture, Real estate, Agriculture.

The reign of Manmohan Singh govt. showed appreciable return on property investments plus GDP rose around 3 times between 2004 to 2014.

Under the leadership of Modi, the country seems to be slowly moving towards fascism in my opinion.

Sadly, India currently ranks 140 on the happiest countries in the world. Indian People seem very unhappy but a big majority of them don't seem to be able to break the shackles on their brains.

And now Modi's govt is openly asking for votes in the name of army men who lost their lives in Pulwama.

People are responding very well to this trick. I think Modi wins easily.
One key similarity between Trump and Modi is they don't care about political correctness. Be it "merry christmas" or visiting hindu temples often, they are not repeating what the previous leaders did. Add to those things like radical Islam ban, beef ban etc, may have angered many people and media had a chance to pounce on it.

But have people s right been taken away?? Not yet I think.

Even in thos forum if you see, the right wing nuts( who usually dont respect anyone other than their indoctrination like guns,anti-abortion, anti-welfare etc) have found a new vigor since Trump election and thats happening in India too. Also the commie media focusses more on those topics too.

It should be about Economy, jobs, agriculture which people fail to mention. Media also ignores it.

They are focusing more on religion, caste, pakistan, china and so on.

Do anyone care about those be it USA or India??

Everyone wants to hear what makes them happy or what they know. And Modi knows his bases well and impresses them well enough.

It is because of the times we live in. Radical Islam has become a bane. With the advent of fast broadband social media is reaching to the furthest corners. People being people enjoy being riled up- hate/anger attracts far more than love/compassion. Right Wing governments are rising everywhere.

We should take part in Elections 2019. We should vote to our local politician. We should not consider Modi vs Rahul.

Modi is something of a demagogue and comes with the baggage of extreme right wing elements being part of his support base (he does sort of skillfully temper the worst instincts of these fringe elements through symbolic acts, but they have been emboldened by BJP being in power), but he's better than anyone Congress can come up with.

Modi is engaged, dynamic, and visionary. He sets lofty goals and goes about attempting to achieve them will earnestness. Congress simply doesn't have the spine, willpower, ability, or sensibility to commit to deep, trans-formative economic and bureaucratic reform and for decades merely served as a vehicle through which politicians plundered India. Modi promised change and reform and he has largely delivered. India's tax system overhaul will pay dividends in economic growth for decades to come. New Delhi bureaucrats actually work now instead of playing golf. Government has become more streamlined, technocratic, and efficient.

Hate on Modi all you want. The last time India had a trans-formative leader prior to Modi, was Mahatma Gandhi. In many ways, Modi is the Ronald Reagan or Margaret Thatcher of India.

What exactly is the Congress Party running on? Corruption, ineptitude, and indifference?

Modi doesn't come off as the pakora gassers like from the Vajpayee office. I think he talks extreme in a way that rubs off badly to Muslims etc but similar to Trump the results for the country matter more.
