Chinese cinema is almost like crime against the cinematic art, lol.

Some Chinese TV shows have started to occupy Latin American market.
Recently I got to know Dylan Wang is very popular in some Latin American countries.

Also Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand buy a lot of Chinese entertainment products, although the profits are small.

K-pop is almost completely image focused with little to no substance hence its popularity - image sells. There's a Colombian Native American girl, AnaMaria Ochoa who went viral in SK just because she looks Korean - the comments are almost totally Korean, Japanese or Thai.

She first rose to prominence with her participation in the Bohemian Rhapsody cover in the Voice Kids Colombia. A pretty good cover btw.

Can you name some of these shows? Are they for the Chinese expats in these countries or the entire population?

They are mostly for young audience, with beautiful characters.
I don't really like watching them but here are some examples:

K pop is a well studied marketing, and for that, they deserve a praise. After all, monetizing is also a skill. They also have K dramas, the Korean movies... artistically, Koreans have ways to make the show that are quite interesting.

I still remember when we watched a movie called "Attack on the gas station" a long time ago, and all of my friends were kind of shocked but in awe at the way the movie was filmed. It was very different than what Hollywood or European cinema accustomed us. Especially a scene where they fight and destroy everything without any music or something like that? When you see it for the first time, it's a bit like "wtf" but then, it stays in your mind. I believe Korean movies have done tremendous progress and are really really interesting.

Look at some of the Netflix K dramas now tagged as Netflix originals... they are quite good.

Netflix is mostly harbouring trash tbh, their sudden drop of subscribers speaks for it.

Anyways, speaking of China again: this one ("Believer") is Korean but remake of Hong-Kongian movie...haven't watched the original but this one is one of my favorites, it's even underrated despite the good rating:
