Indonesia tourism industry has been growing pretty fast for the past few years. And contrary to popular belief, Indonesia is much safer than many developed countries. And is safer than Thailand in general. So yeah, depends on your mindset. If having Moslem standing next to you freaks you out, Indonesia is not for you.

Are we talking about city or country?

FYI, Jakarta is never considered "safe" by average Indonesians. In fact the city has the 2nd highest crime percapita in the country.

agree with you

I saw the location of a new capital ..this was built from scratch again starting from O ..because Kalimantan/Borneo is too different from Java
Jakarta is very appropriate to be a business city but needs a lot of improvement after the capital city moves
