What do you mean? There are seven Stan (which means land) countries in the world. 5 of them were part of the Soviet Union, Afghanistan and Pakistan were not. Kazakhstan and Pakistan don’t have that much in common.

I have been to Omsk Siberia and traveled pretty close to the Kazaki boarder. I have Family in a small village there.

I mean that. In terms of population, the world's biggest water dam, fine cuisine and nuclear power, Pakistan stands out.

I have the cousin who live in Siberia.

She has sunbathes in bikini at + 12C and she's not afraid of a temperature of -50C. This is unbelievable but they are used to living like that!

I probably more lie Northwest territories combined with the Quebec/Labrador, and New Foundland hinterland. Siberia has quite a large coastline, but it is facing it on the east much like Eastern Canada.
