Wuhan had many foreigners.

People may spread by just talking without wearing masks, without a single cough or sneeze. Another less noticeable route is by contaminated and flawed sewage system leaking air into rooms. By air in air conditioning systems of ships is suspected. A few other more transmission routes may also be possible in addition to the normally assumed coughing and sneezing.

Macao, a city with very high density and the most busy border with Mainland China is doing pretty good without new case in more than 2 weeks.

Cases went up fastly in non East Asian countries.

Italy's cases increased fastly. Iraq, a country with low international human movement, had its first case.

Luck or very effective methods are needed to prevent rising cases.

This virus is a coronavirus with many mild or asymptomatic patients. It spreads easily as the cold and flu. SARS and MERS spreaded less easily than this.

Or maybe it's Italy to blame given their envious record to blow off everything in the last one/2 decades...

Epic fail prediction tbh.

This echoes what I see and hear on the ground here. Most small businesses aren't open yet, or are still operating with fewer staff and limited hours. Most people are still staying inside, which is good for health, but not for business.

Many of China’s American fast food restaurants such as KFC and Taco Bell operated by the Chinese corporation Yum are open with some innovative tactics to stay in business despite the crisis. Cell phone orders and confirmation only. No in store touch screen orders.

Temperature checks prior to entering stores. Home delivery still in operation. Pick up outside. Customer and delivery person standing several feet apart and order set down for customer to walk forward to pick up. Tag on food order with delivery persons name and temperature at time of delivery.

Oh, we are definitely paying attention to China.

That is where 98% of the deaths from coronavirus have occurred.

During the last 24 hours 25% of new deaths and 70% of new cases have been outside of China.
https://outbreak.cc/

At the same time EU and the USA is hardly doing anything to contain the spread. All the evidence point towards a death rate around 1 - 3%, at least when the health care system get overburdened. But they seem to hope that it is 0.1% like an ordinary flu and everything will be fine.

There will be all kinds of rumors floating around and a lot of PANIC. The fatality rate on this is fairly low compared to many really deadly diseases from what I have heard. Just a few minutes ago on FOX News they reported a pet owners Pomeranian Dog had evidently tested positive days after the pet owner had been hospitalized with the Corona Virus. Animal to human. . . human to animal. . . now what is next? One thing to think about. Bird migration from South to North and vice versa. If?/When? birds can transmit this virus then what? In the Northern Hemisphere we should see the virus moving from South to North and just the opposite in the Southern Hemisphere.

I have heard all kinds of bickering going on about the NEWS MEDIA, Politicians and their BLAME GAME. Time for all of us to quit that and work together. America is at its greatest when there is a HUGE problem that brings us all together. This may be one of those times.
