Of course you do, you support the CCP.

More problems abroad are not going to fix America's problem at home.

There are multiple geopolitical and moral reasons for the US to stop China, Biden would be regarded as the worst president in modern history if he let China annex Taiwan as it would destroy the USA influence and trust.

If China were to invade Taiwan, then the U.S. would likely intervene, but not with direct military action. The cold war provides examples. When the Soviet Union invaded countries, the U.S. supplied and trained resistance fighters, brought economic sanctions, but never intervened directly to fight the Soviets.

On another note, it's fun to speculate on these matters, but such a conflict is unlikely, as the present status quo is beneficial to all parties, and changing it will surely lead to great consequences. Not a risk either side wants to take.

It really depends on how China attack.

1) If China blockade Taiwan, then the US will respond with crippling economic sanctions and freedom of navigation exercises.Taiwan will refuse to give up causing a massive headache for the CCP as it loses allies and become economically isolated.

2) If China attack Taiwan, but not US warships, then the US will use that opportunity to blockade China. With the support of US warship in the area, then the invasion is likely to fail. If it is successful, then China will be destroyed economically due to the blockade.

3) If China attacks the US directly, then it will be a full scale war between Nato and China, and China will almost certainly lose

Biden says US will defend Taiwan. WH Spokeswoman and Lloyd Austin says US will help Taiwan defend itself. Who calls the shots in the Biden administration?

Well that’s the official US position and has been for decades. If push comes to shove with an actual Chinese military intervention all bets are off. But that’s an unlikely scenario. China will just chip away with threatening air and ship intrusions and bellicose rhetoric.

If China has not ruled Taiwan for many years, how did Chiang Kai Shak manage to take over Taiwan and rule it under martial law?
Then US refused to accept Mao's China, and kept insisting Chiang as the legit Chinese government, then China is rulling Taiwan.
Then there are some US politicians who went to China during the civil war and concluded Mao is just a friendly agrarian reformer!
Now China wants Taiwan back as if nothing bad has happened, they are going to assume after Dr Sun Yet San,comes Chiang Kai Shak and then Mao.
We are like an elephant in a china shop when it comes to foreign policy, did anyone think HO CHI MINH a friendly agrarian reformer?what about Sadam ?Ida Amin?
Have we learned anything from the Vietnam War?

If Denmark has not ruled Iceland for many years, how did Sveinn Björnsson manage to take over Iceland? Just as dumb question.

Your question only makes sense if you assume Taiwan belong to the PRC (China) and not ROC (Taiwan).

Can I make this analogy:

Abraham Lincoln never ruled the South. Yet when the South wanted to secede, Abe felt he had the right to send troops to take back the South.
