For me, the most interesting period is the time up to Red Cliffs. After Liu Bei's conquest of Yi, the story bogs down IMO. So, I guess I like the warlord period more than the actual "Three Kingdoms."
you should start with the "7 kingdoms" period, since that's the earliest time of the actual chinese history. it's far more impressive than the so call "3 kingdom" story, since romance novel have many things that's not actual history.

almost every first emperor of dynasties rise from humble beginnings (they had to overthrow the major power from the previous dynasty some how). in addition to liu bang being a no body, zhu yuan zhang, the first emperor of the ming dynasty was a homeless bum before he became emperor. Imaging that.

If this does not prove the mainstream news media is under the influence of Communist China, then what will? Is the media even covering this news, or just jerking around the conspiracy theory about Trump, of late?

did you really read the whole 3 kingdome history/novel? by the time wei beats shu and wu to end the three kingdom period, cao cao, liu bei, zhugeliang, or whoever you know that's famous in the novel, are long dead.

wei had the sima family who later established jin dynasty, while shu and wu have no body worth mentioning.
